Introduction to Hunting

This two-week introductory course evaluates your dog’s natural ability and prey drive. Designed as a fun, confidence-building hunting camp, it introduces your dog to birds, scent work, and gunfire in a safe, positive setting. It also helps develop skills like swimming (if applicable) and lays the groundwork for more advanced hunting training.

Retriever 101

Retriever 101 is a 2–3 month course designed to build a solid foundation for future hunting work. Dogs are introduced to birds, gunfire, basic obedience (here, stay, whoa), fetch conditioning, marking, and beginner-level back commands. They’ll also start learning to remain steady to wing and shot. Owners receive hands-on instruction throughout the program, including obedience, bumper drills, and marking. The course begins with a two-week trial to assess your dog’s drive and suitability for training.
