Wild Bird Program

Taking place in the Upper Midwest from September - October, the wild bird program focuses on enhancing your dog’s natural hunting instincts by exposing them to real-life hunting scenarios and field conditions. With access to thousands of acres of upland bird habitat, wild birds like pheasants, sharptail and ruffed grouse prove to be the best teachers for your young dog. In the Wild Bird Program, your dog will further their ability to point, flush, and retrieve wild birds in realistic and unpredictable scenarios that reinforce obedience, patience, and control - all essential skills for a reliable and trusted hunting companion.

AKC/UKC/NAVHDA Hunt Tests

Should you like to see your dog perform competitively against some of the best dogs we know, ask about our upcoming hunt test schedule! Each organization offers different testing levels, from beginner to advanced, allowing dogs in all stages of training and development to participate at their own, comfortable pace. For the eligible dog, hunt tests provide an excellent opportunity to measure your dog’s progress and proficiency through a structured, supportive environment.
